S(tr)ings
Born and raised in California’s Inland Empire with detours in La Brecha, Sin., Mexico, Eddy Eagles first picked up a guitar at thirteen to lead his gang of marching-band buddies on a string of drive-by serenades. Since late-2009, a pesky ghost named “D_Q” has been haunting Eddy until he can craft a dump of noise into something musical. In 2011, Eddy recruited the Lion, Adam, to help him in his Quest. Any time not spent noise-crafting, Eddy spends as a MALcriado farmworker lawyer, fighting for justice, venturing up and down Aztlán’s pueblos campesinos.

Drum(s)
Adam De León hails from Northern Orange County - a distinction that is important to him. At fifteen, dying of boredom and tired of skateboarding injuries, he got behind a kit. Flash-forward to 2011 – one near-death experience later – he decided to give rock and/or roll one more try. Enter the Eagle, Eddy, via Craig, the List. Several dives later, Eddy left Southern California on some quixotic adventure while Adam stayed behind to lend his talents to other bands such as (formerly) Bout Tradger, Jane Astronaut, and Grinning Ghosts, and (currently) Sand Box. During daylight hours, Adam is a paralegal to a set of solo lawyers in LA.
Origins

RADIO LA MANCHA is a rock band with a story to tell. Based out of the San Joaquin Valley and Los Angeles, Edgar Aguilasocho (“Eddy Eagles”) and Adam De León have spent over a decade honing their sound—fuzzy, loud, and unapologetically their own. They mix raw energy with big ideas, turning every track into a new chapter of their ongoing adventure. Drawing inspiration from the gritty rock and roll of Southern California and the rich, storytelling traditions of Mexican rock, their music is a reflection of the landscapes that shaped them.
Eddy, driven by a need to exorcise through distorted riffs and sprawling prog-rock narratives, found his match in Adam, a drummer with Bonham-sized beats and a love for heavy grooves. Together, they don’t just write songs; they dive headfirst into concept albums that pull from rock’s past while pushing their own limits.
Their story started in 2011 as Dead Quixote, tearing through California’s dive bars with a rotating lineup that included Dave Virginia on bass and Kyle Todd on guitar. From Hollywood’s Whisky a Go Go to Anaheim’s legendary Doll Hut, they left their mark on stages big and small. Along the way, they dropped two LPs—Absurdity (2011) and Green Star (2012)—and even landed a feature as OC Weekly’s “Locals Only” band in April 2012. Dead Quixote called it quits in 2013, but the music didn’t stop. It just turned a new chapter.
In 2020, they came back stronger as Radio La Mancha, releasing their full-length album Valentine—a turning point that brought their vision to life with the help of multimedia collaborator Visual Renegade, blending their music with dynamic visuals and storytelling. Valentine was a raw and intimate dive into their sonic world, but with VERSUS, they’re raising the stakes. Set to roll out throughout 2025, VERSUS takes on a more operatic approach—bigger, more ambitious, and layered with intricate arrangements. This time, they’re teaming up with Holy Noly!, bringing an even grittier, more immersive experience to the mix.
Radio La Mancha isn’t here to chase trends or fit into a mold. They’re here to do what they do best—tell stories, make noise, and keep pushing forward.
